Keeping in line with the institute’s goal of providing overall development to students, The English Literary Association (ELA) strives to organise and encourage literary activities that will stimulate and motivate the young minds. The association aims to hone the literary, aesthetic and communicative skills of the students. Such a journey into the realm of literary art, not only shapes one’s inner self, while nurturing the creative thirst, but also sculpts the raw potential of young ignited minds. The ELA aims to inculcate, uphold and enhance the soft skills within the student population of S.P.I.T. Such skills will be an ace up the sleeves of SPITians, which will allow them to advance in their chosen fields through the proper and creative use and knowledge of the English language. The ELA aims to organise a variety of literary events throughout the year that will provide a platform for the students to explore their creative talents, while refining their soft skills, which is a hallmark of their personality.
